PLUS loans have a fixed rate of interest set by the federal government and are subject to passing federal guidelines for creditworthiness. Reimbursement of those loans generally begins within 60 days after the funds have been fully disbursed. Curiosity accrues immediately and PLUS debtors are answerable for all curiosity.
