When the Ecumenical Council of Trent drew to an in depth in 1563, it had completed many things that would leave an indelible mark on Church historical past. Chief amongst these had been the reaffirmation of basic Catholic Church teachings, a few of which got with a purpose to strengthen the Church and reply to its Protestant detractors.
